2016 Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies in Czech Republic

The summer schools of Slavonic studies/languages/Czech language and culture are organized by several public universities in the Czech Republic. They are run on annual basis during the summer months, usually for 2-4 weeks.
The summer schools are aimed to foreign students, specialists (pedagogues, translators, interpreters) and academic professionals specialized in Czech and Slavic studies. However, they are widely open to everyone interested in Czech language, literature, history and culture.
The educational sections include different levels Czech language courses, special seminars on Czech literature, culture and history, free-time activities as visits of theater, music and dance performances, excursions, sightseeing trips, etc.
Application deadlines – mostly in the second half of June.
