The topic of the 48th edition was "Landscape", which was chosen as a reference to the UN GA decision to name the year 2020 as the International Year of Plant Health.

In total there were 22216 registered art works coming from 83 countries of the world. 348 artworks have been registered from Iran, 6 of them authored by young artists from Kanoon - Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults has recieved awards.

On February 22, 2021, the ambassador Mr. Josef Rychar has handed over the medals to Ms. Mahta Abed (13 years) in the photography category and to Mr. Ratin Eteghad (8) in the drawing/painting category. Honourable mentions have been  awarded to Ms. Melisa Razavi (9), Ms. Shadi Esmaeilnia (16) a Mr. Ali Ashrafi (11). The sixth honourable mention for absent Ms. Azam Azimi (16) has been handed over to representative of the Kanoon Institute. All the awarded artworks could be found on the website of LIDICE.

The gathering happened in warm athmosphere with fervent enthusiasm of the children who have not hesitated to come even from a distant parts of Iran. We hope that next year we can meet with more succesful and promissing young artists participating in the 49th edition.
