The expansion of Czech-Iranian business cooperation

The Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic, His Excellency Jan Mladek has met with the Iranian delegation led by Minister of Economics and Finance of Iran, Excellency Ali Taeib Nia between December 6 and 9, 2016. Thus he followed up his visit to Iran during January of the past year.
 

The meeting of the Ministers was the peak of streak of negotiations that had been held in Prague in between the December 6 and 9 in the connection to the first unofficial conference of Czech-Iranian Committee for Business Cooperation.

Both Ministers, then, signed “Agreed Minutes” including the results of several expert groups and the Cooperation Committee. The following fields were chosen as the key topics for mutual cooperation: manufacturing of CNC machines, construction equipment, automotive and railways sector, infrastructure, medical and pharmaceutical sector, glassware industry, electro-technical, steel and chemical industries, as well as deliveries of complex investment projects such as water treatment facilities, ecological infrastructure and the development of natural resources. Other fields designated with a good potential for cooperation are geological survey and mining industry especially regarding the iron ores and other natural resources and energy. Agriculture and sciences were also brought up as new topics during this meeting.
