Czech volunteers are again helping by forest regeneration in Carmel Mountain

In 2010 and 2016 the Carmel Mountain was affected by devastating forest fires. Czech volonteers with cooperation with KKL are helping every year by regeneration of this unique forest. This year they have been helping till 11 of February 2016 in the moshav Kerem Maharal.
 

The moshav Kerem Maharal under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Council as established in 1949 by group of Jewish holocaust survivors, originally from Czechoslovakia, who immigrated to Israel with the help of the Aliya movement after World War II, and was named after legendary 16th century Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, also known as "Maharal".
