I was shocked by the news of yesterday’s terrorist attack in Israel, which I visited with my ministers two weeks ago. I deplore this unjustifiable act and deeply regret the meaningless loss of human lives. I feel with the people in Israel, who shall not get intimidated and will not allow violence to affect their daily lives. It is necessary to break out of the vicious cycle and make progress in the Middle East Peace Process. I would like to offer my sympathies to the families of the victims and to the Israeli government.
