Czech group Lake Malawi in Eurovision Song contest finals

64 th Eurovision Song Contest Tel Aviv, Israel, culminated May 18 in final evening with Czech band Lake Malawi. The three-member group, headed by frontman Albert Černý, represented the Czech Republic with a song Friend of a Friend and made it to an amazing 11th place. Congratulations

The meeting with members of Lake Malawi was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel on 15 May. Czech fans living in Israel from the compatriot community had an opportunity to meet the band members in person. Ambassador Martin Stropnický and his wife Veronika congratulated Lake Malawi on their way to the Eurovision Finals.
