Embassy of the Czech Republic to Israel together with Czech House Jerusalem invite you to a projection of director Oliver Malina Morgenstern´s movie - FIGHTERS FROM THE WESTERN AND EASTERN FRONT - RAF DIARY.
Venue: Cinematheque Jerusalem, 14.3. at 7p.m.

The director Oliver Malina Morgenstern and his team decided to record a missing documentary about volunteer fighters from Czechoslovakia, Transcarpathia, Volhynia and about Jewish volunteers who fought on the Western and Eastern Front of World War II. and their fate after the Second World War and after 1948.
This Documentary movie brings stories of the last surviving veterans, soldiers, officers, women struggling on the Western Front in the Battle of Britain in the Middle East at Tobruk. There are Also unique shots from the Eastern Front in Buzuluk and the D-Day, the Normandy landing in 1944. These are the stories of people who, after 1939, did not give up to Hitler's Germany. They went to the unknown places, unknown to where, but willing to fight for their country.
