Presentation of Institute of Jewish Studies in Olomouc at the Hebrew University (Jerusalem, 13.11.2016)

On November 13, 2016 Czech Ambassador Ivo Schwarz opened at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem a commemorative event for Prof. Kurt and Dr. Ursula Schubert – pioneers of Jewish studies in postwar Europe who helped in 2004 by the establishing of Centre of Jewish Studies at the Palacky University in Olomouc, which was in 2008 converted into an Istitute and named after Kurt Schubert. The Institut was presented by its head Mrs. Ivana Cahová. The event was organized by Hebrew University, University of Vienna, Palacky University, Czech Embassy, Austrian Cultural Forum, and Mrs. Eva Schubert.
