Reception on the occasion of Czech National day

On the occasion of the Czech National day, the Embassy in Tel Aviv held a gala reception. 

The reception to commemorate October 28, 1918 took place on October 20, 2022 at the residence of the Czech ambassador in Israel and was opened by Ambassador Martin Stropnický with his speech. Among the main guests was Mrs. Karine Elharrar, the Israel's Minister of Energy, who deals with issues of energy, water management and the use of Israel's natural resources. In her speech, the minister praised the Czech Republic as the closest friend of Israel and thanked for the support on the reconvene of the EU association council with Israel while serving as the president of the EU.

During the reception, the internationally renowned violinist Jaroslav Svěcený performed, playing compositions from his own work, Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Schindler's List by John Williams and Once Upon,  Csardas by Vittoria Monti a Time in the West by Ennio Morricone. A banquet was prepared for the guests of the reception with tasting of traditional Czech cuisine and famous Czech beer.
