Czech hotels and spa resorts participated at the International Mediterranean Tourism Market

Under the auspices of the CzechTourism Agency, a number of Czech hotels, spa resorts and tour operators participated at this year’s IMTM fair. Ambassador Ivo Schwarz in his B2B workshop opening remarks noted increasing number of Israeli tourists, who have chosen Czech Republic for their leisure destination in 2015. Not only has the number of Israeli tourists grown by app. 10 % in 2015 (over 130 thousand vs. 117 thousand in 2014), but they’ve spent on average almost 5 nights in the country, which ranks them 2nd after the tourists from Russia.
