The candidates from the State of Israel are offered six scholarships in 2020 that consist of free board and lodging, coverage of course fees and free access to cultural events which are part of the course program.
 

SUMMER SCHOOL OF SLAVONIC STUDIES 2020 - CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Embassy of the Czech Republic announces the call for applications for the Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2020.

The candidates from the State of Israel are offered six scholarships in 2020 that consist of free board and lodging, coverage of course fees and free access to cultural events which are part of the course program.

Each application dossier for the scholarship must comprise 3 copies of completely and legibly filled out application form, photo, curriculum vitae and a passport/ID copy and has to be submitted to the Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv in hard copy (printed) BY THE END OF FEBRUARY 2020. The Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies offer Czech language courses (http://www.msmt.cz/eu-and-international-affairs/summer-schools-of-slavonic-studies) organized by several public universities in the Czech Republic. The courses are held during the summer months, their length is 4 weeks and are designed for foreign students, teachers, translators and interpreters and other experts active in the field of Czech/Slavonic studies. The Summer Schools offer language courses at various levels of proficiency, seminars on the Czech literature, culture and history, free-time activities including theatrical, musical and dance performances, trips etc.

In 2020 you can apply for a scholarship in these courses:

1) PRAGUE – July 24-August 21, 2020 (scholarship for 4 participants from Israel, Charles University)

2) BRNO – July 18-August 15, 2020 (scholarship for 2 participants from Israel, Masaryk University)
