New Travel Rules Between Israel and the Czech Republic

The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic listed the State of Israel among so-called "green countries", i.e. low-risk countries of infection of Covid-19 (starting from May 10, 2021).
Travel for all purposes, including tourism, is possible from June 1, 2021.

From July 9, 2021 all travellers coming from Israel to the Czech Republic are required to:

  1. complete the Exit Statement form from Israel - for Israeli citizens and residents of Israel (Czech citizens residing in Israel) - please check exact details with authorities of the State of Israel
  2. complete a special Czech arrival form (not necessary for children under the age of six years of age)
  3. present a negative antigen/PCR test before the start of the journey, or be tested within 5 days after arrival in the Czech republic in case you are an Israeli citizen (both vaccinated and non-vaccinated) or a non-vaccinated Czech citizen residing in Israel. Vaccinated Czech citizens are not required to present a negative antigen/PCR test, unless the airline requires it.

For detailed chart see attachment below.

Self-isolation/quarantine upon arrival to the Czech Republic is not mandatory. This is valid for all foreigners and Czech citizens who, in the period of the last 14 days, stayed in states marked by the Czech Ministry of Health as a low-risk country, which includes Israel.

Please check the airline(s) specific requirements you will be using before the flight (e.g. need to present a negative PCR test result).

All travellers to the Czech Republic must have health insurance stating, among others, that their insurance covers risks related to Covid-19.

The demand to wear protective masks or FFP2 respirators in public trasport in the Czech Republic is still required.

For more information, please visit the website of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.

What conditions apply to trips from the Czech Republic to foreign countries?

Each country has its own travel rules, just like the Czech Republic. The Czech traffic light system has no bearing on them – it only determines the conditions for travel to the Czech Republic. Information on the requirements for travelling to individual countries can be found in the Signpost (for European countries also in the Traveller's Map).

For arrivals and departures in and from Israel, it is necessary to follow the current rules and regulations; see the indicative links below.
