How to make an appointment for a long term visa or residence permit

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv accepts requests for appointments by email only. Appointments via phone are not processed.

It is mandatory to register to lodge an application for a long term visa or residence permit exclusively by sending an email to the following email address: telaviv.visa@mzv.gov.cz

The rule of 1 email – 1 applicant applies and at the same time there is an exception for children under 15 years of age, who lodge their visa application together with their legal guardian. These children can be included in an email of the legal guardian.

Email requests will be sorted into one infinite line according to the date, hour, minute and second of the receipt of your email into the above mentioned email box.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic does not alter in any way the order in which the Embassy receives the emails, it does not change the sequence in which they arrived in any way possible. The request for change of date to lodge a long term visa application or residence permit application will be disregarded and not processed. In case an applicant cannot come in assigned date, he/she must send another email and request a new date via email address:  telaviv.visa@mzv.gov.cz

Applicant´s email should contain the following mandatory information:

  • first and last name;
  • contact information of applicant (email, phone number);
  • number of travel document and country that issued the travel document;
  • purpose of application (long term visa/residence permit);
  • annex: copy of a data page of passport (the one including your photograph and personal info) + copy of document proving the purpose of your stay (for example confirmation of study, marriage certificate etc); without this annex, the request for registration is incomplete and will not be processed;

Confirmation of email delivery and assignment of date:

You will first receive an automatic reply generated by the system. Please do not reply to this email. Your appointment date and time will be send to you within 48 hours.

The number of free slots to lodge a visa application is set to 8 per week (that is 32 slots per month).

Office hours for lodging applications:

Thursday: 09:00 – 11:00

Office hours for visa collection:

Monday: 13:00 – 14:00

Friday from 09:00 – 12:30 (only by appointment)
