In his word, Ambassador Urban said that human rights are a top priority for the Czech Republic and encouraged all the stakeholders to give their contribution in what he qualified as a balanced media law that would protect the journalists, who on their side should show professionalism, integrity and work ethics.

Head of the ISP Mr. Afrim Krasniqi presented the online media situation in Albania and noted that while online media is used increasingly, there is not an online media law. Meanwhile, the professors present agreed that although there are many online news platforms in country, only several were reliable source of information.

Czech Republic is contributing in the current media project led by the Institute of Political Studies within the Transition Promotion Program.
