To this purpose, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Tirana Karel Urban and the Director of the International Human Rights Festival, at the same time Director of the Academy, Mr. Kujtim Cashku signed the bilateral Donation Agreement that will back the screening of movies and documentaries from different countries, Czech Republic included, focused on the field of human rights.

During their meeting, Ambassador Urban noted that the promotion of the democratic values belongs to the key principles of the Czech foreign policy, and human rights in particular are high in the agenda of the Czech EU Presidency of 2022, especially in the light of the new political circumstances created by the Russian aggression against Ukraine.  The Ambassador underlined that the Czech Republic shares the same vision with the Academy, and therefore it fully supports its endeavors in the field.
