Czech Ambassador Karel Urban inaugurates the “We have grown up in the EU” Exhibition

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Karel Urban and the Speaker of the Albanian Assembly Mrs. Lindita Nikolla inaugurated jointly the Exhibition “We have grown in the EU”. The event, which took place at the premises of the Albanian Assembly in the presence of MPs, Corps Diplomatique, and friends of the Czech Republic, celebrated the Czech Presidency of the European Union and the 100thAnniversary of bilateral relations Czech Republic – Albania.

During his addressing, the Czech Ambassador said that the EU journey of the Czech Republic had been not so easy, but yet very rewarding, and considered the EU membership as the foundation of the confident and successful country Czechia is today.

 

The Ambassador expressed also the readiness of the Czech Republic to share its experience with Albania in its path towards the integration, and commended the work of the Albanian Legislative body in the approximation of domestic laws with the EU Acquis Communitaire.

 

In the end, the Ambassador and the Speaker Madam Nikolla inaugurated the Exhibition “We have grown up in the EU”.  The photos were showing the milestone historical events of the Czech Republic towards and in the EU.

 

It will be displayed in the premises of the Albanian Assembly for a week.
