Minister Xhaçka summed up the history of our relations and thanked the Czech Republic for its support in the EU enlargement process, as well as aid after the earthquake and during fires. Ambassador Urban stressed the richness of both countries’ relations and appreciated cooperation of Albania with the EU.

During the event. A book Tokat çeke dhe shqiptare (Czech and Albanian Lands), by Dorian Koçi was presented. The book describes the history of Czech-Albanian relations since the First World War until these days. The Czech Embassy in Tirana published this book on the occasion of this anniversary.
