In his speech, the mayor thanked not only for the quick provision of a financial contribution to the school project, but also praised the immediate deployment of Czech construction experts, who mapped the damage caused by the earthquake. He also mentioned two other projects on which the Czech Republic cooperated with the municipality of Tirana, namely the construction of a playground and the planting of trees. These projects were financed as part of the annual development assistance provided for the so-called Small Local Projects.

Svatopluk Opěla praised the smoothly functioning cooperation with the municipality of Tirana and the speed with which the technical and administrative preparation of the project was realized on the Albanian side. In conclusion, he confirmed the willingness and readiness of the Czech Republic for further cooperation.

The official start of the reconstruction work was widely publicized, a short video was filmed by the largest local television station, TOP Channel TV, and an article with extensive visual documentation was published by the Albanian Telegraphic Agency  and the online daily TIRANApost. A report on the launch of the project also appeared on the  Tirana Municipality website.

Due to its uniqueness (the Czech Republic is the only sponsor - the investor of this project) and the speed with which the financial gift and the whole project were prepared, this project contributed to the significant visibility of the Czech Republic in Albania.
