Suspension of issuance of visas by the Czech Republic due to the declared State of Emergency

The Government of the Czech Republic issued Government Resolution No. 198, effective 14 March 2020 that declares State of Emergency in the territory of the Czech Republic in relation to the Covid-19 epidemic. This resolution also provides suspension of issuance of  all types of visas by the Czech Republic.

Due to this decision UV 198 (DOC, 185 KB) the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana does NOT currently accept any Schengen or long-term visa applications, neither applications for long-term residence permit. All ongoing applications will be halted until further notice and the visa section has been closed.
