All applicants for visa/long term stay in the Czech Republic must reserve an appointment for submitting their application by e-mail: visa_tirana@mzv.cz.
Kindly provide your name and surname, date of birth, nationality, number of your passport and its validity, type of application (in case of employee card application please provide vacancy number), valid e-mail address and telephone number. No visa/long term application can be accepted without an appointment.


All interviews can be conducted in Czech or English, in case you do not speak either, you have to arrange for an official translator to be present during submitting your visa application.

Foreigners have to present to the Czech Embassy in Tirana Confirmation of an entity receiving in the territory of the Czech Republic a third country citizen for the purpose of educational or economic activity.

A third country citizen submits this confirmation along with an application for a residence permit, prior to marking the visa in the travel document at the latest, at the respective Embassy or Consulate of the Czech Republic in accordance with § 31 para. 3 letter b) of Act. No. 326/1999 Coll., on the Residence of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic, and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended.       

All foreigners entering the Czech Republic´s territory also have to inform the concrete Public Health Office (according to foreigner´s place of stay in the Czech Republic) about his arrival and immediately, within 72 hours, undergo RT-PCR test (payed from his own financial resources) in order to exclude positive result related to the SARS CoV-2 infection. Until the foreigner doesn´t get such confirmation / negative test, he won´t be able to start any of his study or business activities.
