Meeting with LDP Members of the Japanese House of Councilors regarding Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic.

On 1st April 2021, three LDP Members of the Japanese House of Councilors, Mr. Tsuyohito Iwamoto, Mr. Masato Shimizu, and Mr. Yasushi Miura, visited the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo for a meeting with the Czech Ambassador to Japan, H. E. Martin Tomčo, regarding Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic.

Given the COVID-19 situation, Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic will be held without overseas spectators. We received a warm message from LDP Members of the Japanese House of Councilor that they will make sure that Czech athletes and their teams coming to Japan will be able to participate safely in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, and also Czech citizens can enjoy the Games under such circumstances.
