The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo highly appreciates its excellent collaboration with the numerous Group of Friends of the Czech Republic in the Parliament of Japan (Diet) which consists of representatives of both houses of the Diet. It is, however, obvious that there always will be space to develop and enhance this collaboration. H.E. Mr. Tomáš Dub, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan, invited members of the group for a lunch which took place on March 4 in the premises of the Embassy. The Czech diplomats had a pleasure to welcome nine Members of the Diet led by president of the group. Hon. Hajime Funada. The atmosphere of the lunch was very friendly and the discussion brought up a number of interesting ideas on how to further develop the cooperation of the two countries. The traditional general assembly of members of the Group and representatives of the Embassy is supposed to take place in the premises of the Diet in the month of April.
