A panel presentation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Japan travels to the city of Sakai

In the period from 11 July to 10 August 2020, several cultural events will take place in Sakai Rissho no Mori Plaza, in honor of a significant Czech-Japanese anniversary. Last autumn Embassy of the Czech Republic inaugurated the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Sakai.

The 100th anniversary to mark traveling panel presentation, which visitors in Tokyo and Toyama had the opportunity to see, will be heading to other cities within Japan in the coming months. During July and August it will be possible to see the panel presentation, as well as the exhibition of Alfons Mucha entitled "Hajimete no Mucha".

The main program of the event is heading to the beginning of August and due to extraordinary measures it was transfered from the originally planned Sakai Westy Hall to Sakai Rissho no Mori Plaza. 8. 8. 2020 Sakai City Opera will present Dvořák's Rusalka and 9. 8. 2020 the audience will be delighted by two concerts of Czech classical music to celebrate the 100th anniversary. The accompanying program consists of Czech beer, wine and other goods tasting. The whole event will take place under extraordinary hygienic measures to keep the guests safe and well entertained at the same time.
