Charity Concert for Ukraine at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo

On March 15, 2022, "Charity Concert for Ukraine" in support of war-torn Ukraine took place in the full hall of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo. The audience appreciated that this was the first charity concert in support of Ukraine in Tokyo. The Ukrainian Ambassador officially thanked for this arrangement.

In addition to the donors, the concert was attended by distinguished guests, including H. E. Ms. Akiko Santo, President of the House of Councillors, H. E. Mr. Hiroyuki Hosoda, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ambassadors of European Countries, Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and others.

The concert was performed by the well-known bandura player and singer Ms. Nataliya Gudziy, who introduced to the guests the pieces of traditional and modern Ukrainian music. In addition to singing, Nataliya Gudziy has been playing the traditional Ukrainian musical instrument bandura since she was eight years old. She has been working as a musician in Japan since 2000. Her beautiful and transparent crystal singing with the charming sound of a bandura attracts a wide Japanese audience with its melancholic atmosphere.

Proceeds from the concert go to the Ukrainian Embassy and will be used to help the war-torn country. Thank you all for your attendance.
