The Third V4 + Japan Student Conference at the Josai Internatinal University

The Third V4 + Japan Student Conference took place in the premises of the Josai International University (JIU) on 25 November. This year, the organisers chose the topic of "The Primacy of English as a World Language: Implications for Japan and the Visegrad Countries". 

The JIU has been very active vis-a-vis the region of the Central Europe and the existence of the Central European Studies at JIU significantly contributes to the development of cooperation between the V4 and Japan. The conference was sponsored by the Josai Educational Corporation. Regular student conferences and annual seminars V4 + JP, organised in cooperation with Tokio embassies of the V4 countries on specific political topics, represent priceless fora for exchange of experience and getting to know each other. On behalf of the V4 countries, Mr. Milan Slanec, deputy of the Czech ambassador to Japan, greeted participants of the conference.
