Czech crystal cup for female winner of International run race in Okayama

Every year, the Embassy of the Czech Republic awards a female winner of International run race in Okayama by a Czech crystal cup. This year, this crystal cup was handed over to the 38th female winner of Sanyo Women’s Half Marathon on December 15, 2019.
Sanyo Women’s Half Marathon, an annual road running women’s competition, features both a 10 km run and half marathon race. The half marathon is also known as Yuko Arimori Cup, in honour of two-time Olympic medalist, who was born in Okayama.
The tradition of 10 km run is referred to Kinue Hitomi, Okayama-born athlete, who won Japan’s first ever women’s Olympic medal.
