Two exhibitions with Czech themes take place simultaneously in the premises of the Toyama Glass Museum from April 25 to September 22, 2020. The exhibition of academic sculptress, glass artist and painter Ivana Šrámková and a panel presentation mapping milestones of diplomatic relations with Japan.

 The Czech artist Ivana Šrámková presents in Toyama  Glass Museum her collection called "Beings" which contains around 80 mainly recent works with the theme of animals and hidden human emotions. The exhibition, supported by the Auspices of the Czech Ambassador in Tokyo, is enhanced by a bilingual English-Japanese panel presentation marking the 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Czech Republic and Japan. Among other things, it recalls the successes of Czech athletes at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and Nagano. After July 7, 2020 the panel presentation will move to other places within Japan.
