A unique opportunity for Czech companies to host Japanese S&T university students as interns

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is inviting applications from EU based companies to host Japanese trainees for 6 months, from 18 August 2022 through the 'Vulcanus in Europe' scheme.

'Vulcanus in Europe' programme is an annual 1-year scheme, taking place in Europe and is divided into two main parts. The schedule for the participants who come to the Czech Republic is going to be set up as following:

  • Language Training (4 months): Japanese students (your future interns) will arrive in the Czech Republic in April 2022 and attend an intensive language course for 4 months in order to gain a working knowledge of the language spoken in their future host company.
  • Internship (6 months): The programme beginns on 19 September 2022 to 17 March 2023, students will work as interns at their host companies.

The trainees come from leading Japanese universities and are students in engineering, IT, biology, chemistry, and other scientific/high-tech fields. They will bring to your company a number of advantages: a valuable addition to the R&D workforce and an insight into the Japanese culture, extremely useful for successful business with Japan.
