Rules for entering the Czech Republic as of April 9, 2022

In view of the current situation of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the Czech Republic and worldwide and its overall impact, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic is abolishing all anti-epidemic measures for persons entering the Czech Republic arriving from abroad with effect from April 9, 2022.

Effective from April 9, 2022 when traveling to the Czech Republic  it is no longer required to fill in an Arrival Form or to provide proof of infection-free status. However, it is still recommended to verify the terms of travel (including proof of infection-free status, i.e. test, vaccination, illness) directly with the transport carrier (plane, bus, train).

The requirement of the Canadian authorities that every person over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated in order to travel from Canada by air is still in effect. This also applies to citizens of the Czech Republic who are long-term residents in Canada, i.e. permanent residents (PR) or Canadian citizens.
