Rules for entry and return to the Czech Republic for travelers from Canada effective from February 15th, 2022.

On February 15, 2022, the latest Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic regulating the rules for entry into the Czech Republic came into force.
 

CITIZENS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

(also EU citizens, family members of Czech Republic or EU citizens with a residence permit, foreigners with a residence permit in the EU)

  1. Passenger Locator Form
  2. Prior to arrival PCR/RAT test OR have a national vaccination certificate
  3. If no certificate, then required to undergo a PCR test in the Czech Republic between the 5th and 7th day of entry

 

NONCITIZENS (FOREIGN NATIONALS)

Entry to the Czech Republic for travelers from Canada ONLY under the following conditions:

  1. Passenger Locator Form
  2. Confirmation of completed vaccinations accompanied by a national certificate OR confirmation of recovery from COVID-19 (180 days)
  3. Length of stay will not exceed the validity of the certificate (if "booster" then no limit)

 

Important notice of certificate expiration:

- validity of the vaccination certificate is set for 270 days;
- in the case of the booster, the validity is unlimited;
- antigen test validity reduced to 24 hours.
