Consular Fees

The exact amount for each fee is determined by Czech Law (No. 634/2004 Coll) and it is therefore non-negotiable. The exact dollar amount is determined on the 1st of each month based on the current exchange rate of Czech crown to Canadian dollar.

We accept payments:
- credit card; in this case, the amount is charged in CZK or EUR according to the applicable tariff (it does not include bank fees for currency conversion charged by the cardholder's bank). Visa, Visa Elektron, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club International, UnionPay, Discover, JCB;
- cash;
- money order;
- certified check (personal checks cannot not be accepted).

If you are sending payment by post, please note that a new fee schedule is published on the first of each month using the current exchange rate. As a result, rates may change slightly and if your payment is not sufficient at the time of application, your request may not be processed. In such cases, we recommend that you send your fees well in advance of the end of the month or at the beginning of the month after the new current fees have been published.
