European Travel and Information Authorisation System (ETIAS)

From mid-2025, some 1.4 billion people from over 60 visa-exempt countries including Canada are required to have a travel authorisation to enter most European countries.
All the necessary information about ETIAS can be found on the website of the European Union. The exact date of the launch of the ETIAS system will also be announced well in advance on this website.
