Its initiator was the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mongolia in the third year, together with the local private music school "Šikulka", led by musical virtuoso and teacher of the Conservatory of Mongolia Mrs. Tsolmon Tunsag, a former graduate of Charles University in the field of piano teaching. "Sikulka" has organized this event in cooperation with the Mongolian Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and several local sponsors as well.

This year's unrivaled victory of the promising 13-year-old pianist Khosbayar Huslen enables that Mongolian side will cover the cost of his participation in the 33rd International Smetana Competition in Plzen, which will take place on 13-19 November 2018. Together with him, the event will be attended by lecturers and parents at their own expense and many other young Mongolian pianists who have been at the forefront.

The ceremony was attended by the 8 best young pianists, represented from more than six dozen participants, along with representatives of the judges, the Counsellor and Consul of the Czech Embassy in Mongolia, Mr. Václav Dobeš. After an introductory speech by the former director of the Mongolian Conservatory and leading Mongolian musician Prof. Mungunsukh Munkhtumur, he highlighted the importance of the competition, appreciated the efforts and perseverance of the performers, thanked the lecturers and the organizers of the event and wished the winners to be successful in the upcoming International Smetana Competition.
