Screening of „On the Roof“

On 18 January 2020, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar in cooperation with Altankhalis, presented this year´s first Czech film by director, screenwriter and actor Jiří Mádl “On the Roof” as part of the Saturday's Dreamer's Day screening in ICinema. The film was presented in Czech dabing with Mongolian subtitles.
 

“On the Roof” is the second feature film directed by Jiří Mádl, who has been successfully changing positions in his career in front of and behind the camera. In recent years he has been one of the most sought-after Czech actors, but his start in the field of directing has also met with success. He won the RWE Award for Discovery of the Year at the Czech Film Critics Awards 2015 for his debut Let's Go to the Sea, which was seen by cinemas by over 100,000 viewers.
