In 2020, the Czech Republic and Mongolia commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mongolia presents the winning logo, designed by the Mongolian graphic artist Mrs. Sergelen Purvee, and in addition to the national flags, it also features national symbols, a Mongolian horse and a Czech lion.

The embassies of both countries will commemorate the anniversary in cooperation with Czech and Mongolian partners by a series of events for the general public. In Mongolia, the activities will focus on the presentation of Czech technologies, film production, jazz scene, street art artists and Czech sports. The official opening of the anniversary took place in the center of Ulaanbaatar on December 16, 2019, where ice sculptures of Charles Bridge and St. Vitus Cathedral were ceremonially lit on Sukhbaatar Square, which visitors to Mongolian capital can see until Tsagaan sar, last February week.

During the anniversary, several top visits will take place during the year, as well as the 10th anniversary of the transport of Przewalski's horses to the "Strictly Protected Area Gobi B" organized by Prague Zoo and the Czech Air Force. The celebrations will also include a traditional reception connected with an exhibition of photographs at the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the issue of a special stamp by the Mongolian Post Office, and the broadcasting of popular programs produced by Czech Television by the public television station MNB.
