The Czech Republic at the Days of Francophony in Ulaanbaatar

March is traditionally the month of the Days of Francophony, and it was no different in Ulaanbaatar, where the Alliance Française, in cooperation with the resident embassies of the member countries of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), prepared an interesting cultural and educational program. The Czech Republic, which was admitted to the OIF in 1999 as an observer country, also took part.

The program of the 22nd Francophony Days was opened by the Ambassadors of the participating countries, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union and the Director of the Alliance Française on 12 March and on March 15, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic presented a recipe for a traditional Czech Potato Latkes and a dessert Kaiserschmarrn (in czech Trhanec) as part of a cooking program together with French chef Matthieu Rouquier.

On March 27, the Embassy of the Czech Republic organized an online presentation of Czech universities and their study programs offered to foreign students in English or French. There was a lot of interest in the live broadcast on the part of the Mongolian participants, and that is why we enclose the presentation here as well.
