During her speech, ambassador Chatardová reminded of the need for support of innovative methods of development financing and introduces the tools used within the Czech development cooperation. She also noted the need to adhere to the best practices of financial management. These best practices are the most important tools for domestic financial mobilization, optimalization of allocation of these resources, support of foreign investments and strengthening the security and political stability.

The thematic event will be used as an input for the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries, which will take place on January 23 – 27, 2022 in Doha, Qatar. The Czech Republic is the member of the preparatory bureau of the conference.
