Ambassador Jakub Kulhánek presented his credentials to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres

On 15 February 2022 the new Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations, Ambassador Jakub Kulhánek, presented his credentials to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Ambassador Kulhánek reiterated that the Czech Republic remains a committed UN member state.

For the upcoming Czech Presidency of the European Union, one of the priorities is to promote rules-based international order and the United Nations is an essential part of it. The Secretary-General highlighted his positive relationship with the Czech Republic, which he described as fantastic.
