Ambassador M. Chatardová took part in charity auction of UNICEF dolls

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, M. Chatardová, participated in charity auction of dolls organized by the Czech Committee for UNICEF in the Czech Museum of Music on November 26, 2019, where she also contributed her doll. Fashion designer Libena Rochova was a patron of the charity evening, which saw a total 27 dolls auction for $46,200.

Auction of dolls made by celebrities is part of the project of the Czech Committee for UNICEF “Adopt a Doll, Save a Child”. Adults and children are making cloth dolls as part of this project and these are subsequently offered for purchase for around $30, which covers basic vaccination of a child against 6 deadly diseases. In the past 17 years, the project contributed over $1.4 million and helped with vaccines for more than 55 thousand children.
