The whole event started with an opening speech of the representative of the Kurdish Regional Government in the USA, who has later introduced the following individual speakers. H. E. Miroslav Klima, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic, spoke on behalf the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the OSN and in his speech he thanked the director Gwynn Roberts for his work and expressed his support to the present representatives of the Kurdish government. The event was also attended by H. E. Christoph Heusgen, Permanent Representative of Germany to the UN and H. E. Jonathan Cohen, United States Permanent Representative to the UN. A short interview with the director G. Roberts broadcasted by the Rudaw Media Networ followed after the screening of the documentary.
