Prof. Šturma, the Czech candidate for the ILC, Spoke about Responsibility of International Organizations at the Fordham University Law School

The Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations organized, in cooperation with the Fordham University Law School, the panel discussion on “Drawing a Line Between the Responsibility of International Organization and its Member States under International and European Law” on June 14, 2011. The main speaker at this event was Professor Pavel Šturma, Vice-Dean and Professor of the Charles University Law School in Prague and the candidate of the Czech Republic for the International Law Commission for the period 2012-2016. Furthermore, Mr. Emil Ruffer, the Director of the EU Law Department at the Czech Foreign Ministry and Visiting Fulbright Scholar at the Fordham University Law School, dealt with this issue from the European law perspective. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Petr Válek, Legal Adviser of the Czech Mission. The event was attended by the diplomats from the Permanent Missions to the United Nations and by the students, researchers and faculty of the Fordham University Law School.
