Conditions for entry to the Czech Republic valid from 3 December 2020

As of 3 December 2020 there is in force a new Ministry of Health Protective Measure which regulates the entry of persons to the Czech Republic. Travels for tourism and visiting friends are allowed again.

As of 3 December 2020 there is in force a new Ministry of Health Protective Measure which regulates the entry of persons to the Czech Republic. Travels for tourism and visiting friends are allowed again.

Travelers from “red” high-risk countries have the obligation to fill in the electronic Public Health Passenger Locator Form prior to entry to the Czech Republic and submit a document confirming that at the border control or residence check.

Besides,  travelers from “red” high-risk countries must undergone on their own expense a PCR test within 5 days after entering the Czech Republic and submit the test result without delay to the locally competent hygiene station. Until then there is a free movement restriction only to necessary journeys in the Czech territory and an obligation to wear a face mask.

Citizens from the EU countries and citizens with a permanent/long term permission in the EU may enter the Czech Republic with a PCR negative test made at any EU country not older than 72 hours.
