The Czech Embassy in Vilnius has joined the campaign to end violence against women

On 25 November 2021, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vilnius took part in the "Orange the World" campaign on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by hoisting an orange flag.
The "Orange the World" campaign recalls that there is still a need to:
- Advocate inclusive, comprehensive and long-term strategies, programs and resources to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls at home and abroad, with special regard to the most vulnerable groups of women and girls
- Disseminate success stories that show that effective strategies can prevent violence against women and girls.
- Promote the leadership of women and girls and their participation in policy-making and decision-making at local and global levels.
This year's motto is "Orange the World: End violence against women now!" with orange being the traditional color of the campaign, which will run until the Human Rights Day on 10 December.
