(This article expired 30.09.2023.)

The international conference called “Rethinking Mental Health Care. Inclusion, Access, Respect, Dignity“, took place between 8th and 10th September 2022 in the Palace of the Grand Dukes in Vilnius. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vilnius held a reception for the participants on the eve of the conference on 7th September.

The main organizer of the conference on mental health and psycho-social care for war-affected people was a Dutch human rights activist and a professor at the University of Vytautas Magnus in Kaunas Robert van Voren.

Around 150 guests, primarily Ukrainian women attended the reception. They gathered in Vilnius from several European countries to meet and learn how to help victims of the war. Some Ukrainian participants arrived from the Czech Republic, too.
