The competition was organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Czechoslovakia and Lithuania in the organization of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vilnius in cooperation with the Lithuanian-Czech Society and the local music studio "Garsu spalvos".

Divided for piano, violin, cello, flute, singing and chamber ensembles a total of 162 children aged 5 to 19 from Lithuanian music schools across the country competed with great interest. Due to epidemiological measures, the competition took a form of an evaluation of the submitted video recordings, while winners of the individual categories then performed live at the final concert in the Embassy's representative premises.
