Delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Czech Parliament visited Lithuania

From 25 to 27 May 2022, the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Lithuania.
On 26 May, the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic composed of M. Ženíšek (TOP 09) - Chairman, J. Pokorná-Jermanová (ANO) - Vice-Chairwoman, J. Benda (ODS) and V. Balaš (STAN) - members had a meeting with a joint delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on National Security and Defence chaired by Laima Liucija Andrikiene and Laurynas Kasčiunas, and with the Deputy Foreign Minister Raimundas Karoblis.
The program also included a visit of the Czech soldiers stationed within the NATO battalion in the Rukla military area.
On 27 May, before leaving Lithuania, the delegation met with the leader of the Belarusian opposition Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya at the Czech Embassy.
