Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic in Lithuania

On 9 November 2022, the Deputy Foreign Minister for European Affairs Jaroslav Kurfürst held consultations and spoke at the Future of Democracy International Forum in Vilnius.

Mr Kurfürst's talks with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Jovita Neliupšienė, the First Deputy Chancellor of the Government, Rolandas Krisčiūnas, and the Senior Advisor to the President on Foreign Relations, Asta Skaisgyritė, focused mainly on EU enlargement, further EU sanctions against Russia, macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, Ukraine's EU accession process and the Three Seas Initiative.

Similar, if not identical, positions were noted on all issues, and the discussion was mainly on each topic's conceptual and practical aspects.

In the late night hours, the Deputy Minister spoke at the Late Night Session of the Future of Democracy International Forum.
