Since 18 December 2020 travels to the Czech Republic only in strictly necessary cases

(This article expired 31.03.2021.)

As a result of the critical epidemiological situation, Government Resolution No. 1334 on the adoption of a crisis measure restricting the free movement of persons throughout the Czech Republic is in force in the Czech Republic since 18 December 2020 again.

It is possible to come to the Czech Republic only in strictly necessary cases.

It is not possible to travel for tourism or visiting friends. Restrictions also include, for example, the closure of hotels and accommodation facilities (for tourist purposes), stays in public places (maximum of six people allowed), curfew from 23:00 to 4:59, etc.

Persons who come to the Czech Republic in necessary cases are reminded of the obligation to strictly observe the quarantine measures, consisting in filling in the arrival form before the trip and passing the covid-19 test after arrival in the Czech Republic (or just before arrival for the test from EU countries).

So far, restrictions on the free movement of persons in the Czech Republic apply from 18 December 2020 to 23 December 2020.
