Jakub Dürr

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Poland

Jakub Dürr (*1976) is a Czech political scientist, polonist and diplomat, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU from 2018 to 2020, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU from 2011 to 2016 (Ambassador to Coreper I), Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic from 2008 to 2009 and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic from 2016 to 2018. From 2006 to 2008 and then from 2010 to 2011 he held the position of Vice-Rector for Foreign and External Relations of Palacký University. In December 2021 he became Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Poland.
