For Valentine’s Day bring a friend, a loved one, or rock it solo for an unforgettable evening of music with pop singer/songwriter Michal Hrůza and his band Hrůzy for the first time in Washington, DC, on February 14, 2020, at 7 pm, at the Czech Embassy. He wrote the song Za 100 let (In 100 Years), which has 17 million views on YouTube, as well as songs for popular Czech films. Come dance the night away with Hrůza and his band at the Czech Embassy.      

Michal Hrůza has been a personality on the Czech music scene for twenty years. He was a founding member and longtime frontman of the band Ready Kirken. In 2006, he went solo and founded the band Hrůzy. He has also composed music for such Czech films as Lidice (Fall of the Innocent), Padesátka (Fifty), and Pohádky pro Emu (Fairy Tales for Emma). His composition Budu ti vyprávět (I’ll Tell You a Story) was selected to be used in the Czech TV series Vyprávěj (known in English as Czech Family Saga or Wonderful Times), a very popular show among Czech viewers. Hrůza and his band will be playing in the USA for the very first time in their musical career, performing in both New York and Washington, DC. Embassy Security Policy: For entrance, all guests will be subject to a security screening. Photo ID is required. Bags and suitcase are not allowed. Only small purses are permitted but must be opened for inspection. Coat check is not available.           

Parking: Non-metered parking is available on Spring of Freedom Street and Tilden Street.    

Closest Metro: The Embassy is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Van Ness Metro Station.
